These Terms govern your use of Real-ESRGAN.net, including its online image upscaler, AI image and video tools, account features, credits, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Real-ESRGAN.net is an independent service. It is not the official website of the Real-ESRGAN project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the project's authors, contributors, or Tencent.
Real-ESRGAN is an open-source project distributed under the BSD 3-Clause License. References to Real-ESRGAN identify the open-source technology used by the service and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Other models and software available through the site may be governed by their own licenses and provider terms.
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, protect access to your account, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by applicable law.
You retain whatever rights you hold in images, videos, prompts, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited permission to host, copy, transmit, transform, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to fulfill your requests.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to upload and process your content. You must not upload material that infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights.
AI enhancement reconstructs or generates plausible visual detail. Results may be inaccurate, altered, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Face enhancement may change facial characteristics. Do not treat enhanced images as reliable evidence of details that were not visible in the source.
You are responsible for reviewing outputs and determining whether your intended use is lawful and appropriate. Commercial use may also depend on rights in the source content and terms that apply to the selected model or provider.

We may suspend requests or accounts that create security, legal, operational, or abuse risks.
Certain actions consume credits. The interface displays the applicable credit cost before submission. Prices, credit costs, plan features, and provider availability may change.
Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, completed purchases are non-refundable. When a generation fails before a usable result is produced, the service may automatically restore the credits used for that request. Processing errors, network failures, or provider outages may delay a refund.
The service relies on third parties, including AI inference providers, storage providers, authentication providers, payment processors, analytics services, and hosting platforms. Their availability and terms may affect the service. We are not responsible for third-party products or websites outside our control.
We may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features to address provider changes, security issues, legal requirements, maintenance, or product decisions. We do not guarantee that every model or feature will always be available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. Open-source authors and model contributors do not provide warranties for this independent service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Real-ESRGAN.net and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, goodwill, or opportunities resulting from use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or providers, comply with law, or protect service security and availability.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above identifies the latest version. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
