Real-ESRGAN.net is an independent online image upscaling and AI creation service. It is not the official website of the open-source Real-ESRGAN project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the project's authors.

This policy explains what information we process when you use the website, including the Real-ESRGAN image upscaler and the additional AI image and video tools.

Information We Process

1. Account information — such as your email address, display name, authentication provider, and account identifier.
2. Uploaded and generated content — images, videos, audio, prompts, references, and generated results that you submit to or create with the service.

4. Transaction information — plan, credit, order, and payment status. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored directly by us.

AI Processing and Service Providers

Uploaded content may be sent to third-party AI providers selected for the requested tool. Real-ESRGAN upscaling is currently processed by Replicate using the nightmareai/real-esrgan model. Additional tools may use other providers displayed in the product interface.

We also use service providers for object storage, hosting, authentication, email delivery, payment processing, and analytics. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.

Replicate API output files are temporary, so completed results may be copied to our object storage to support download and gallery access.

Storage and Retention

Uploaded inputs may be retained temporarily for processing, security, and troubleshooting. Generated results associated with an account may remain in the user's gallery until deleted by the user or removed under our retention practices. Account, transaction, fraud-prevention, and legal records may be retained for longer when reasonably necessary.

Do not upload confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive material unless you are comfortable with the processing described in this policy.

Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information:

• to service providers required to operate the requested feature;
• when you direct us to share or publish content;
• to comply with law, legal process, or valid government requests;
• to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our terms;
